November last year, Commission Junction launched a fantastic service call CJ Web Services to allow CJ.com publisher to search product & links from their huge database. The Web Services API are fantastic and make used of the API to create a Product Search Engine Site :-
Technical
I have created a syndication engine to link to the API and transfer the affiliate products to my Product Search Engine Site based on certain keywords. I have also created an agent to update product prices at periodic intervals.
Internet Marketing
In Internet Marketing area, I am not doing much in promoting the site besides building up the google page ranking.

Future Plans
- Increase total products to 1 million products.
- Create a more user friendly site.
- Create a unique business model to allow user make use or play around with the product database.
- Increase site promotion.
- Add monthly promotion done by cj.com advertiser such as online coupons, seasonal product clearance and etc.
Difficulties Face
- Hard to get all cj.com advertiser to approve causing lost sales commission opportunity.
- Lack fresh business model to excel the site to the next level.
- Lots of marketing efforts needed to make the site a super site.

My First Google AdSense Cheque !!
What?? Your first Google AdSense cheque?
Yup you got that right. After a few years of holding the payment, I finally decided to request for the cheque. Hmm when is the last time I cash a US cheque? Well I can't remember, it must be very long ago.
I went to Maybank to get my cheque process. They took alomost 1 month to process it. Worst is the charges & commission to cash the cheque is very expensive. Here is how expensive :-
- They gave you a crazy exchange rate, normal lah bank mah
- The charges to process the cheque from Maybank - RM 25
- The charges form US bank to process the cheque - USD 10
So if your US cheque is less than USD 20, you can throw your cheques away or you can just frame it somewhere.

I started learning about Internet Affiliates a year ago from a professional Internet Affiliate Guru (Edmond Wong). After all the hard work, after all the losses, and after a lot of trial and error, I am finally generating enough revenue to do it full time.
I am a full time Internet Marketer now.
My cj.com 12 Month Trend Graph. March 2006 earnings surpass the USD 1500 mark. This graph figure ended 18 April so the April earnings is not of full value.
