Yipeee Deepa Raya Long Holiday. During Deepa Raya Holidays, my friends and I went to Bangkok & Pattaya for 6 days 5 nights. This is my second time in Bangkok but this time instead of joining some cheap package tours to zoo and safari, I went there backpacking style. Total expenditures 8000 baht not included Air Asia flight.

Day 1
Reach BKK Airport at noon and took airport bus to EKAMAI bus station (100 baht). Then from there took an express bus to pattaya (110 baht). Actually got cheated by the bus sales person because I forgot to ask back for change. Damn shouldn't they give you change automatically? Only realise that while in the bus. Aiya in hurry mah, not yet eat lunch and bus is leaving in 10 minutes time. From that time onwards, I always check for change. Even in Taxi I got into the same trouble when the Taxi driver trying to cheat me by insisting that I only pay him 100 baht note rather than 500 baht note. Yah yah travellers rule of thumb, always have correct small change in Taxi, never give big note in taxi, even if big note is given to a taxi driver, always double check change notes for fake money.

Reach Pattaya bus station after 2 hours ride. Got a tut tut to Centra Pattaya Beach for 20 Baht per person and check into any hotel nearby. Explore the pattaya city by foot, had a nice dinner and more shopping. Well I am not into shopping very much because I knew that most of those stuff is imported from China. Only apparels is worth buying in Thailand because of their superior quality. Then we headed to the Famous Pattaya Walking Street, this is where all the pubs are. Then we went for Thailand
